A gorgeous day marked the kick off to the Golf Tournament.

Volunteers are working hard to set up the registration table which was loaded with thank you gifts bearing the agency logo.

Golfers begin to trickle in as tee time approaches.

Debbie Farrell, Assistant Executive Director and Fran Beltrame, Director of Program Development and Quality Assurance, sign them in and ensure they receive their gift bags.

We really do appreciate our golfer's who take time out of their busy schedules to support a great cause.

Board members Vanessa Rameriz, Marge Hart, Lorraine Jolly and Sharon Mailhot take time out from their busy day to pose for a group photo.

Board President, Michael Marccuci stops for a photo after registering with Kris Hudkins, Program Coordinator for S.A.I.L

And their off! Golfers begin to look for their first tee.

Golf is about form, swing, and making the ball go long distances.

It is important to know where your ball lands, hoping for as close to the hole as possible.

Often carts came in handy in locating balls when they went long distances.

Our "Wine Hole" provided golfers with a chance to win a cruise or plane tickets if they made the hole in one shot. Wine was offered as a consolation prize.

Did he make the shot or win the wine?

There was putting ...

And the evil sand trap! It snagged one golfer ... were there more?

The golfers did a great job disturbing the local wild life.

New carts this season gave everyone a run for their money including Debbie and Kathy while they were doing beverage duty.

Kathy and Elizabeth Thomas, Program Director for Plainville Group Home, travel by cart to each hole seeking takers for the raffle tickets they had to sell.

Debbie and and her father-in-law Brian Farrell make a great team working out the logistics that make this day great!

Margaret Butler stopped for a group photo with Kathy and Debbie.

Later in the evening Margaret shared with the group Bob's excitement about the having a golf tournament and his commitment to the agency.

Last minute raffle ticket sales by Board members Vanessa, Lorraine and Plainville Group Home's Education/Vocational Specialist Christine Lundstrom.

The gentleman and ladies started the raffle by placing their tickets in bags by the items they were interested in.

Brian then got down to business calling out the winners of the raffle and silent auction.

While passing out the winnings to others Lajoi Norfleet, Assistant Program Coordinator at S.A.I.L won a trip to Foxwoods.

Board member Lorraine Jolly waited her turn for Brian to select the winner from her raffle bag.
As the evening wound down we want to be sure we said:
Thank You!
To all the golfers, sponsors and donors.
